The other day I had a few opportunities to wait in a couple lines. I was in a restaurant where I had to politely wait for my turn to get a cup of water. As I was waiting in line a young man stepped in front of me and then pushed his way to the cup machine (while another lady was getting her drink). This gentleman did not seem to be in a hurry, just pushy.
So my question to you is, what do you think is proper line etiquette?

I think it is polite to get your ice and step to one side of the drink machine so the person behind you can fill his or her cup. I think as the next person in line, you wait until there is no chance of "crowding" the current machine user.
